In 1520 the nave roof was raised to the height it is today, the clerestory windows were added to provide more light. The north side windows are clear glass, but the south side windows are stained glass and feature Saints, Apostles and Martyrs.

The tracery above each window is similar with vine leaves and grapes, with backgrounds of red and blue with borders in opposite colours

St Peter, St Andrew, St James the Greater

St Peter:- He is an Apostle (originally named Simon). His Halo is white, with a robe of red/black over a tunic of blue. Standing barefoot on a tiled floor, he holds cross keys. He is the patron of fishermen, masons and shipbuilders. His feast day is the 29th June.

St Andrew:- He is an Apostle. His Halo is pink, with a robe of red with blue/green edging over a tunic of mauve. Standing barefoot on a tiled floor, he has a diagonal cross secured to his back with the robe. He is the patron of Russia, Scotland, Greece and fishermen. His feast day is the 30th November.

St John, St Philip,

St Bartholomew

St Thomas, St Mathew, St James the Less

St Matthew:- He is an Apostle. His Halo is pink/white, with a cloak of blue/pink over a tunic of gold/brown with pink and white decoration. Standing barefoot on a blue floor, he holds a blue book. He is the patron of accountants, bookkeepers and tax collectors. His feast day is the 21st September.

St James the Less:- He is an Apostle. His Halo is yellow, with a robe of red, blue and white, held with a clasp, over a tunic of blue with a yellow and white background. Standing barefoot on a pink tiled floor, he holds a cudgel (or club). He is the patron of Uraguay, apothecaries, pharmacists and the dying. His feast day is the 3rd May.

St Simon (the Zealot), St Thaddeus (Nathaniel),

St Matthias

St Thaddeus:- He is an Apostle (often identified as St Jude). His Halo is yellow, with a robe of green and white over a tunic of mauve, yellow and white. Standing barefoot on a white tiled floor, he holds a battle axe. He is the patron of the suffering, especially for those with special difficulties. His feast day is the 28th October.

St Matthias:- He is an Apostle (He was chosen to replace Judas Iscariot). His Halo is white, with a robe of red, purple and white, over a tunic of yellow and white, with an orange overshirt. Standing barefoot on a white tiled floor, he holds a spear. He is the patron of carpenters and tailors. His feast day is the 14th May.

St Mark, St Paul and St Luke
